Short and sweet. Too short in fact.
Yaron perfectly captured the essence of the text and translated it beautifully into music.
The soothing/appeasing voice and the vibrations from the Saz usher you into a contemplative state.
The title “Reflection” is fitting.

Masterfully composed and beautifully played , Yaron has given us a song to pause and think about. So blessed and anointed is this song. Toda rabah Yaron.

about
Hishtakfut//Reflection
Hillel Zeitlin (1871-1942) brings before the reader a quote that originally appears in the Book of the Tanya, Likutei Amarim, Chapter 42. Where do we meet Zeitlin's words in the context of time and the space in which he lives? And what does he seek, if at all, to translate or dub in this quote?
During the life of Zeitlin, who was born in the city of Mohilev in Eastern Europe, many riots took place that befell on the Eastern European Jewish community. The situation of many Jews in these areas was dismal and many lived in deprivation and deplorable living conditions. Zeitlin, therefore, fills the space between the appallingly gloomy and gloomy reality, and the aspiration, that of the individual and of the collective, which aspires to sublime places out of the upliftment and inner strengths of man. Perhaps his words, try to convert the experience of alienation into hope and lingering.
lyrics
Translation:
All that man can see, the heavens and the earth and its fullness thereof,
they are all the external garments of the Holy King blessed be He,
and by them man will know that which is internal and the source of life.
