about
There is a very old Jewish saying that goes like this:
“The whole world is a very narrow bridge [...]“
If we will use this metaphor that reflects the journey we go through in life, we will have to ask the question, towards what? towards what we are going?
For me it reflects what i felt when i wrote this composition. I found myself longing, anticipating to what is at the end of that bridge. But don’t get me wrong, i really enjoy the walk! ;)

lyrics
The only word sang in this song is the Farsi word “Elahi” which is equivalent to “God” in English or “Elohim” in Hebrew.
The music genre is a type of Persian Lullaby that is common in certain tribes in Iran.
It's just the perfect combination of ephemeral and modern, uplifting and illuminating. Never get tired of any of Miqedem's music. It's alive! ashiraaimee

she sings with her whole heart, there is such power in her words even though i don't understand hebrew, i sense the Holy Spirit in her songs, much like miqedem, the power of the anointing in the music. phesniza
